The magazine’s owner, Tanja Rösler, and I initially launched MIKS’ new website back in 2019. Since then, the magazine has seen major changes in style and moved from a printed to an online-only offering. Now in 2023, it was time to also reflect that with an updated website design and logo. The new layout highlights what is most important on a magazine’s website: the articles. MIKS (hence its name) covers three different major categories: MITTENDRIN (how to live life up to its full potential being middle-aged), KULTUR (book & theater reviews), and SZENE (insights into equestrian sports). That being a colorful mix of topics underlines the importance to have a design in place that helps to highlight the different articles directly published through the website.
